Students will make a 15- to 20-minute presentation to the class on an individual or family developmental issue with a focus on one cultural population. The presentation should be based on at least two peer-reviewed journal articles that were published in the last 10 years. Presentations should include intra group variations—in other words, be careful not to over generalize or gloss over intragroup diversity. Visual aids are encouraged such as slides or handouts that you can post to the course wall. Grading for the presentation will be based on both content of information provided as well as ability to engage the attention of the class. I clipped the oral presentation rubric that needs to be followed as well as an example. The subject for this entire oral presentation is: The Impact Of Parents Who Use Substances Has On Older Children In The Home (ages 6-12)
